Thanks for your comments Mike. What kind of ball flight do you produce consistently (high, low, right to left, left to right etc) with your driver and also your short irons?

I really appreciate you commenting on my golf instruction video. I hope that you can take away some of the key concepts to help you play better. It's a detailed analysis but only because keeping golf instruction simple only makes it incomplete and ineffective. Thanks again for commenting and good luck with your game.

OK ..great video and even better analysis...they best on the net.......Now my question or problem is...the farther my hands are ahead of clubhead coming through the ball, the more likely my clubface is open or I am blocking a shot to the right......how do you keep a square or slightly closing clubface and keep the foreward leaning shaft? I can't seem to have both.....and I sure would like to!

To have a forward leaning shaft and the clubface closing the correct check that your grip pressure and placement is correct.
The left hand controls the clubface rotation so check that you left hand and thumb position is behind the shaft enough.
Many of the amateurs I have coached tend to have their left hand/thumb position too much on top of the shaft making it difficult to close the clubface enough through impact. I would check here first.
Hope that helps and thanks again for commenting.

Another great video Lawrie. My question is..... Do you have any drills or tips help maintain lag in the golf swing? I took a video of my swing the other day face on and it's clear I am releasing too early. I can't find any drills to help with this. Any advice would be much appreciated. I love your videos.

I'll put an instruction video together over the next few days but for now try this drill.
Address the ball and overlap your bottom hand over your top hand on the grip until only the thumb and forefinger are on the golf shaft and hit some shots swinging your arms back to 9 o'clock and through to 3 o'clock smoothly.
Gently pull the club with your top hand to lead the downstroke and let the golf club release itself fully past the golf ball. Let me know how this drill works for you and good luck.
